It’s Brad Werenka Wednesday!

Oh hey Brad! It’s been a while.

Just a quick update (in images) that I think we all want to see today.

First of all:

I mean, come on! Congrats Darryl. Broke my heart that this picture isn’t from 2004, but still. You made Bruce Dowbiggin look like an asshole, and while that’s easy to do, it’s still nice to see it happen.

Then there was this: Your Calgary media, ladies and gentlemen.

This is also the same guy that was apparently sounding off today about how Luke Schenn is for real, and at 22 it’s dumb for the Leafs to give up on him now. Meanwhile, Mikael Backlund is pretty much a bust.

I bust on Walker a lot. it’s nothing personal (I’ve never met him, so that should be obvious), but I think his ideas about hockey seem kinda…let’s say Tambellini. I don’t listen to the Fan, so who knows what the fuck is going on there, but one assumes he’s hired on the premise that he has some kind of idea of what he’s talking about. I realize they’re entertainers, personalities, and not journalists, but wow. This is top notch shit right here.

Everyone else expects more from their sports media, and so do we. Stop Brynning it, k?
